No question about it, puppies and kittens are pretty irresistible!   They're sweet ... they're cute .... and they are like little Do It Yourself kits.   Everything that is needed to make a great pet is already there ... its up to their humans to help them grow up to be their best selves.

Obedience training is as much for the humans as for their dogs .... and at least once in a dog owner's life they should make this journey.  Why?  Because obedience training teaches humans how to set boundaries, and gives them the tools they need to help their best friends become delightful and well socialized companions.

Dogs are pack animals by nature and cannot be their best selves if they are banished to the backyard away from the families they want so desperately to please and be part of.
