The following are the resources available for Spay / Neuter assistance in NS.  If there are any resources not listed here, please contact the webmaster to help get the word out:

bullet S.H.A.I.D.'s  Myrtle Quigley Fund offers help for those in need, with income disclosure requested.
bullet PET Projects offers help - there is a printable pdf form on their site which can help anyone interested find out if they qualify
bullet MaritimeDogs.com: low cost spay and neuter resources for Nova Scotia is another good source of info
bullet Cape Breton SPCA Cat Program might be able to help if you live in the CBRM
bullet Check with your municipality to see if there are any low income discounts available for spay neuter
bullet If you are trying to get feral cats fixed, contact your local TNR Group to see if they are able to help.
bullet If nothing else is there, check your local vet clinics to see if any of them will allow you to divide the cost of the spay up into a couple of months.

FIX YOUR PET AND GIVE THEM A BETTER AND LONGER LIFE

Nip things in the bud.  Ask your vet about Early Age Spay Neuter.  Why?

bullet Its cheaper, and of course
bullet Its done before your pet can add to the pet overpopulation problem!
